Marianna Skiada is a graduate (with honors) of the Department of Management Science and Technology from Athens University of Economics and Business and holds and M.Sc. (with honors) in “Technology Education and Digital Systems” with direction “Νetwork-oriented-systems” from University of Piraeus. Her PhD thesis deals with Recommender Systems algorithms and more specifically with the production of recommendations in ambiguous environments. She is a member of IML (Intelligent Media Lab) of ELTRUN Research Center of AUEB and has worked on national and european research projects such as e-invoicing and the use of RFID technology to generate user recommendations. Her research interests focus on machine learning algorithms, programming, data mining, and human-computer interaction.
