Dimosthenis Kotsopoulos


Dimosthenis Kotsopoulos has been a Researcher at the ELTRUN Research Laboratory since 2016, participating in EU Research Projects. He is additionally a PhD Candidate of the Department of Management Science & Technology at Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), researching the field of IS & Gamification for Employee Motivation towards Energy Conservation Behaviour at the Workplace, having Published Scientific Papers in International Conferences. His Research Interests include: Green IS, Employee Motivation, Employee Extra-Role Behaviour, Workplace Gamification, Workplace IoT, Indoor & Outdoor Geolocation. He has acquired the title of Executive MBA from Athens University of Economics & Business, Graduating First in his class (valedictorian). He also holds the title of MSc in Geographical Information Science from the University College London (UCL), as well as a degree in Geology from the school of Natural Sciences of the University of Athens. His Work Experience includes eight years in an executive position within the field of pharmaceuticals’ production and marketing, as well as team leader at the “Hellinicon” Olympic Complex operated by the “Athens 2004” Olympic Games’ Organisation Committee.
